Author Spotlight – Charulatha C.

Charulatha is a full-time mom based in Bangalore, India. She is an engineer by profession and took a break from work, to enjoy her daughters’ precious moments and finally found her calling in writing stories for children!

Beaming Child is her vision to make parenting an easier journey for parents. At the core of this is her wanting to be a better parent. She is also a strong believer that children need certain core values to help them achieve whatever goals they set for themselves – resilience, compassion, perseverance, empathy, curiosity, etc. She realized that instilling them isn’t easy and that other parents might be in a similar boat.

To kick this vision off, she launched the Beaming Child Series books. All the books have core values sprinkled around subtly and make for warm, interesting slice-of-life stories for children. She believes that children will pick these values from the book and showcase them in their lives.

The books really pointed out the various positive sources that our children can look to for knowledge. The main character learned from so many different people. Love this book!
