Key Takeaways
The book’s purpose is to teach readers that their words matter.
We need to address being kind online before we get to high school. There are so many mean things that are said online.
When we speak kindly to ourselves, we are setting the standard for how others are to speak to us as well.
When reading aloud to our children, we ask questions not to test them– but to be sure they understand.
