What it is
One evening. Every family reading together.
Reading To Connect Day is the last Sunday in August. At 6PM local time, families everywhere are invited to pick up a book and read together.
You don’t have to go anywhere. You don’t need a special book, lesson, or plan. Talk if the story opens something. Laugh. Wonder. Or simply sit close and read.
The day has been proclaimed by the cities of Richardson, Garland, and Irving, Texas, and by Camden County, New Jersey.
