Meet the Creators
I’m Quinn Cummings—founder of Reading To Connect™ and creator of Reading To Connect Day™. And that kid next to me? That’s my son, Aidyn.
Almost six years ago, we started Aidyn’s Books. What began as us sharing our love of reading together turned into Reading To Connect—and a growing community of parents trying to do the same: stay connected without losing ourselves.
When I first wrote our mission, I said we dreamed of a world united through the power of story. It felt far off. But now?
This is it. This is that moment.
On Reading To Connect Day, at 6PM local time, in every time zone, families around the world will pause.
Not to perform. Not to perfect.
But to return to what matters.
This day centers the home. It trusts the parent.
It says: You don’t need perfection. You need a moment. A book. A child beside you.
It’s not about reading levels or checking boxes.
It’s about memory.
Legacy.

It’s about bringing reading back home—where it’s always meant the most.
